A Message from Floyd Trascher

To the People of Pearl River and St. Tammany Parish

After careful thought, prayer, and many conversations with members of our community, I have made the decision to withdraw my candidacy for Chief of Police of the Town of Pearl River.

I am incredibly grateful to everyone who encouraged me, supported me, and believed in my desire to serve. My decision to enter this race was never about a title or personal recognition. It was about helping ensure that Pearl River has honest, experienced, and qualified leadership that will serve the community with professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

As this election has progressed, I have recognized that another candidate possesses greater experience for the position of Chief of Police. My only objective has always been to see the most qualified person lead the department and protect the people of Pearl River. I believe stepping aside is the responsible decision and is in the best interest of the community I care deeply about.

While I am ending my campaign for Chief of Police, I am not ending my commitment to public service. I will be seeking reelection as your Ward 8 Constable, where I can continue serving the residents of Pearl River and St. Tammany Parish.

Serving as constable has been an honor, and I remain committed to being accessible, dependable, and responsive to the people I represent. I sincerely appreciate the trust you have placed in me, and I hope to earn your continued support.

Thank you to my family, friends, supporters, and every member of the community who has taken the time to speak with me and share their concerns. I look forward to continuing to serve you.
